Two prizes for Composite Recycling at Seatechnology, Tuscany Yachting Week

At Seatec Compotec Marine – Seatechnology in Carrara, Italy (12–13 March 2026), during Tuscany Yachting Week, Executive Chairman Dr Pascal Gallo presented Composite Recycling’s vision for circular composites in the boating industry.

Composite Recycling won two awards in the “A Sea of… Startups” competition: the Sustainability Challenge Prize and the RINA Prize for Technology Innovation.

The prizes highlight a shift gaining momentum across the marine industry, from linear production to true circularity: composites are at the core of modern boatbuilding, but their end-of-life has long remained unsolved. Composite Recycling turns end-of-life composites into high-quality recycled materials — high-value fibres and chemicals for demanding applications — and is now looking to extend its ecosystem to Italy. Thanks to the organisers — CarraraFiere, NAVIGO and the Seatechnology team — and to RINA for fostering innovation in the marine sector.
